The simplicity of the figure and the blue "sails" were for me both striking and moving.

Taken at the National Memorial Aboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire. Very well worth a visit.

A very moving detail from the National Memorial Arboretum. This forms part of the memorial to the many thousands of our servicemen and women who have lost their lives since 1945.
