Taken in 1984. All too soon,this famous Liverpool pub suffered fatal blows delivered by the wrecking ball, making way for a new shopping mall. No more Higsons Bitter or Mild. No more hazardous steep descents either to the Gents way down below. This shot was captured just before opening time when I was taking shots for a local real ale guide. I still have a copy!
