I was taking a stroll along the Parkgate promenade. The light was incredibly contrasty. The couple in the frame were bird watchers and gazing out over the silted up River Dee, a paradise for wild birds. All I saw were gulls, but I'm sure more patience would have brought some reward. However, I had no long lens with me.

It's been a few years since my last visit and it just looks the same. Famous for ice cream and shrimps. The ice cream shop was about to open. It was 5 degrees C and breezy!
