no one really knew what befell the halifax manor...the estate still standing abandoned to this day. those newer to town have assumed the family ran into financial troubles, but there are those longtime residents who have suggested something more sinister was at play. while the property has remained unenclosed, most avoid the grounds completely, and should it be known that anyone were to travel there, they would be cautioned greatly to alter their course.
