Leeds tram 180, at the National Tramway Museum, Crich, Derbyshire. Sunday 08 July 2012.

Leeds 180 was one of a hundred Horsfield class trams built by Brush, Loughborough in the 1930's to replace older trams in the fleet. When new it was painted in the dark blue and cream livery. During the war it was painted khaki, reverting to blue again afterwards. In 1952 it was painted in the new red livery. 180 was withdrawn in 1957 for spares. However the following March 189 had to be scrapped after a collision with a bus, but the truck was in good condition so it placed under the refurbished body of 180 and this combination returned to service in April 1958 as No.189. On 07 November 1959 it ran to Crossgates in the last tram procession. Presented to the TMS it arrived at Crich in February 1960 and was renumberd back to 180.

Bradford tram 104, Bradford Industrial Museum, Moorside Mills, Eccleshill, Bradford. Friday 03 May 2019.

104 was built by BCT at their Thornley Works, Bradford in 1925. With the end of the tramways 104 became Bradford’s last tram on Saturday 06 May 1950. The tram was restored to its pre-1942 condition 1953 – 1958 and from 1960 it occasionally ran up and down a length of tram track in the works yard at Thornbury drawing current from one of the trolley bus wires for a few years. It was transferred to the new Industrial museum in March 1975.

It is impossible to take a complete ¾ photographic view of the tram as it is crammed in to a restricted space inside the museum with walls on two sides and doors on a third side.
