For a long time I debated whether I should put so much of myself out there, a lot of things ran through my mind like "You’ll make yourself vulnerable!".
But, I thought, it is time to share who is behind this brand.
My Bio:
I have been an artist throughout my life. In my younger days I was a professional dancer. I then made leather arts and I would sell them at medieval markets. It was a wonderful time!. I loved to be taken back in time over and over when I lived that life.
I am also an occupational therapist. I worked with addicts and I can tell from the bottom of my heart, they gave back more to me than I could have ever given to them.
Some people look at addicts as if they are a failure to society. I am here to tell you - society has failed them and so many others. We look past those in need, with our busy *me me me*state of mind*. Often life makes us blind to what really matters. If we would have only stopped for a moment and given something called “heartfelt attention”. Some of those so called *failures* would have been “great successes” today!
While dancing I worked throughout Europe and I can say that was a time in my life I would not have wanted to miss. It was exciting and full of adventures! I met amazing people, who I was honored to work for and with.
I was raised in a monastery. I am a believer! Jesus has been my best friend throughout my life. I have lost touch with him now and again, but my path has always brought me back to his ways. I don't go to church, no offense to the church. But, until the day I see the pope walking around in simple clothing and not occupying so much wealth - while so many are dying of hunger - that institution is not for me. I have a different and more humble understanding on how the employees of that institution should perform. When the pope did not make a straight and strong stand against a certain war…that said it all for me. I’m getting political here….lol…but that is part of me too! If you dont stand for something - you will fall for everything!
So to wrap it up, I have been a roamer .....a traveler........a believer.....a political person ( because freedom isn’t free )...and a woman who has kept the child within herself alive at all costs. Deep inside I am Tinker Bell.......and I will never change that. I love it just that way!
So, I came to SL and after a while my creative bone started to play with a cube. Archon, who has sadly passed away and is so dearly missed, showed me how to duplicate those cubes and I thought “I have just opened Pandora’s Box”.....LOL.....since that day I have taken baby steps into the Second Life fashion industry.
I got hooked on creating, I learned to create Mesh by hiring a teacher - who became a dear friend to me rl - and I have met some amazing people along the way.
I want to thank Second Life and the creators who forged the way and who made it possible for so many others to follow in their footsteps.
With help from my friends I started to grow! And here I am, still pushing vertices to make my QUEENS Shine!
