Same tree as the previous upload but I loved the icy clump of grass in the foreground so had to include it. The warm light is gradually moving down the tree producing a lovely contrast with the colder tones below. Rydal water.

Such a cold day, the hoar frost on the trees and the snow on the tops made the warmer tones sandwiched in between look lovely to my eye.

The sky colours really were this vivid, I did consider toning them down but they genuinely make me feel like I was there again. I also like the grass bottom left that look likes waves coming onto a beach. btw the title does mean something, I was lucky enough to grow up in the Hope Valley.
