I included a little bit of this bodkin needle in an image a few days ago, but here's the whole thing. It's French, solid silver and dates from the 1800s. The Sylko cotton reels are probably 1950s and the bits of lace are Victorian.
After several incredibly dark days with virtually no light, today has been bright and sunny. A bit of a shock to the system! I actually had to use a diffuser. I'm not complaining. Well, OK, maybe I am. I always do. Too dark, too bright, too ... whatever. :)

They really are tiny. The larger one is less than ¾" high. No reason for these really, other than my love of miniatures. :)
