Four Bessemer units lead ore loads south as they pass the junction with the Erie Branch at CE on the north side of Albion. The Bessemer & Lake Erie used to have a major yard here. Ore trains out of Conneaut would terminate here and get reclassified and head south. Same thing would also happen for coal trains coming north to Conneaut. The yard was so big that it had an A and B yard. The B yard was located on the north end where the junction is with the Erie Branch. The B yard had a capacity of around 2,300 cars. The A yard was located at the south end closer to downtown Albion where a car repair shop and locomtive facility were also located. The A yard had a capacity of around 900 cars. Today the B yard is reduced to four tracks and the A yard has two tracks.
