Impressions, if you are wanting a 'Dambuster' 'Battle of Britain' style movie then this is not for you.
Not much Lancaster action and CGI very limited, 'apparently' technically quite incorrect as well regarding RAF protocol, but I found it absorbing. I completely bought into the characters, it took a while I admit, the film focusses on emotions and does not glorify War, more on the tortured minds and souls these young men/women had to endure.
Would I recommend it ? YES if you are interested in the human emotional side of what conflict has to offer, if you are a technically minded stickler for facts and protocol, or want full on action movies then this is probably not for you .
The ending I will leave to the individual to decide what happened, I have my own view .
