Located on a clifftop, this Curtain Wall type Castle with views overlooking the Firth of Forth, and the Bass Rock. The castle was built around the 1350s using local red sandstone. It was home to a William Douglas, one of the most powerful men in Scotland at that time. The castle was in use up to the mid 1700s.
