Finally got around to remaking the classic ambulance 6680. Used a lot of the original parts, except for elements such as the special chassis/fender plates, the wheels, and the slightly off-color window panels. Instead played around with a more dynamic color scheme using slopes (never mind the gap...). The van is a Chevy-inspired one, coincidentially resembling a 1981 Chevrolet G20 -- 1981 being the year in which this classic Lego set had been released. The van was partly inspired by this bricked version:

However, I believe in smaller-diameter wheels, independence from stickers, and playability (front doors, back door, two-minifig-side-by-side-seating in the version without door window frames, stretcher in the back). Really like how the color scheme turned out, integrating the printed panels from the original set, as well as the realistically short front overhang and the front bumper.
