Alpen Glow illuminates Monkey Face as it reaches for the heavens above the low freezing fog near Larkspur, Colorado. BNSF coal southbound on the southbound track emerges from the deep blues of the low lying clouds that were rolling in and out of the valleys of the fabled Joint Line at sunrise.
