This is what you get when a Marine Reserve is properly managed and protected. At night you can see where the reserve ends as there are fishing boats in a line around it benefitting from the enormous overspill of fish from the reserve. A win-win situation?

Trying, and mostly failing, to capture Perseid meteors at Wilton Windmill

Plenty of aircraft and satellites around but very few meteors. I went a day earlier than predicted peak due to a forecast of thick cloud. The flashing lights on the Mill are from agricultural vehicles making the most of every dry minute to try and get the harvest in during this very wet summer. The white light rising from the bottom right corner towards the end of the video is, I believe, Jupiter.
