Secuencia 1 - Presa a la vista. Dam in sight
Suaves brisas en el monte movían a su capricho las flores. El pequeño arácnido estaba al acecho en una flor próxima a otra donde la mariposa (un macho de Lysandra hispana) se posó a libar tranquilamente, presencia que advirtió de inmediato la araña… De cuando en cuando, las flores se mecían por las intermitentes rachas del viento y ambos posaderos se acercaban.

Gentle breezes in the bush moved the flowers at their whim. The little arachnid was lurking in a flower next to another where the butterfly (a male of Hispanic Lysandra) sat quietly, a presence that immediately noticed the spider ... La araña tejió un hilo balanceándose y dejándose llevar por el viento favorable para alcanzar la flor donde la mariposa estaba inmersa en su “alimentación”.

Camuflada estratégicamente en la flor la araña inició la maniobra de acercamiento a la mariposa que continuaba libando tranquilamente.

Inesperadamente un segundo macho de Lysandra hispana fue a competir por los dominios florales y la araña quedó a la expectativa, aunque para su decepción ambas mariposas se marcharon cada una por su lado quizá ignorando el peligro al que estuvieron expuestas, al menos una de ellas.
