The model of Mont-Saint-Michel depicts the famous island in the Normandy (France) with its fantastic medieval buildings. An abbey and a monastery are sitting on top of the 90m high rocky island, a small town surrounds it and is enclosed by massive walls.
Mont Saint Michel is an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. More than 3 million people visit the island each year!
