Two and half years ago I started with photography and have mostly been fascinated with the part of woodland photography. Its turned into a passion now for me, and after driving many miles and searching many maps I have stumbled across a Beech tree Oasis. And the wonder of it all is it's a minute drive from my front door, tucked away on the side of a valley. When you do a photo trip for about two hours and come away with a handful of great compositions then you know you have something special.

I think for me personally this is one of my favourite images from this year. Trying to convert any scene I come across in woodland into a final image is not always easy. But this one was, it had the light, the conditions and the subjects. The soft colours coming through the fog in the background just adds that final piece to complete one of my Favourites. Defiantly going to the printers with this one.

No polariser needed, in fact I had too tone down the colour slightly. This Autumn is just bursting in rich colours.
