Djelada (Blood-breasted baboon) (Theropithecus gelada)
inhabit exclusively the highlands of Ethiopia. Mountainous grasslands from 2200m to over 4400m.
A very rare primate species. Guenon relatives. Closely related to baboons.

Unlike baboons, females lead the group in jeladas. They also select their males.
IUCN listed as very endangered :-((......
