Not sure if and when northern light would come out. I waited and waited. Nothing happened. The bone chilling wind brushed into the layers of thick jacket and frozen fingers were hardly handling the cameras. When I decided to give up waiting, it magically appeared, mysteriously dancing around covering the entire sky in awe!

We always dream of going to exotic places or visiting magnificent national parks to find nature beauties. But sometimes we may find natural beauties just near where we live. I went to a local waterfront at dusk to watch people fishing, and ended up taking this photo.

When I was a child, I often heard an ancient tale that there was a goddess on the moon, who came from the earth. The tale made me wonder if it could become a reality. Later, I learned that going to the moon from the earth was accomplished in 1969. In celebrating 50th anniversary of moon landing, a full-size image of the Saturn V rocket, which carried Apollo 11 to the moon, was projected on Washington Monument. This image of human achievement will stay with us forever.
