The Parish Church of All Saints

The fenland village of Moulton is located a few miles east of the market town of Spalding in south Lincolnshire.

The parish church sits in the centre of the village and has one of the finest towers and spires in the county, combined they rise to a height of 165ft.
The church was built about 1180, instigated by Prior John of nearby Spalding, the tower and spire were added some 200 years later.

The Fenlands of south-east Lincolnshire, west Norfolk and north Cambridgeshire are rich in medieval ecclesiastical architecture, because of this the area is sometimes referred to as the "Holy Land of the English".
