The Parish Church of Saint Giles
The small village of Langton by Wragby is set just off the A158 between Lincoln and Horncastle in the district of East Lindsey and the ancient wapentake of Gartree.
Langtons most famous resident was Stephen Langton, the early 13th century Archbishop of Canterbury, who was born in the village.
The parish church is dedicated to St Giles and dates back to the 14th century, the church was heavily restored and partially rebuilt in 1866.
