The Parish Church of Saint Mary

The parish church of St Mary dates from the 13th and 14th century and has a 19th century square tower and box pews. The church of St Mary's, although in the village of Alvingham was until it became redundent in the 1970's the parish church of North Cockerington, which is the neighbouring village. The church shares the same churchyard with St Adelwold (only a few metres to the east of St Mary's), St Adelwold being the parish church for the village of Alvingham.
