Peckover House

The market town and inland port of Wisbech is located on the River Nene in the north Cambridgeshire fens, the town is noteworthy for its fine examples of Georgian architecture, particularly the parade of houses along the North Brink.

Peckover House, which is situated on North Brink, was built in 1722. It was bought by Jonathan Peckover at the end of the 18th century.
The Peckovers, a Quaker banking family and owners of the Peckover Bank, presented the building to the National Trust in 1948.

Emmanuel College

Emmanuel College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college was founded in 1584 by Sir Walter Mildmay, Chancellor of the Exchequer to Elizabeth I.
The site on which the college sits was once a priory for Dominican monks, and the College Hall is built on the foundations of the monastery's nave.

The Cathedral Church of the Holy & Undivided Trinity

The city of Ely sits in the Cambridgeshire Fens on a 23 square mile Kimmeridge Clay island which, at 85 feet above sea level and is the highest land in the Fens.

The city and surrounding area is dominated by Ely Cathedral. The present building dates back to 1083 ad is built of Limestone which was brought by barge from Barnack quarry near Peterborough. Cathedral status was granted and the diocese of Ely was created in 1109 out of part of the Diocese of Lincoln.
It is known locally as "the ship of the Fens", because of its prominent position above the surrounding flat landscape.

The central octagonal tower, with its vast internal open space and its pinnacles and lantern above, forms the most distinctive and celebrated feature of the cathedral, this was built shortly after the original central stone tower collpased in February 1322.

Peterborough is a cathedral city in Cambridgeshire, it is 76 miles north of London, and sits on the banks of the River Nene.

St John the Baptist Church is situated in Cathedral Square and is only a few minutes walk away from Cathedral. Originally the cathedral was for the monks and the church of St John for the townspeople. It is officially designated as Peterborough's parish church and, its vicar bears the title of the Vicar of Peterborough. The current building was constructed in 1402, with a major restoration in 1819.

The Parish Church of Saint Mary

Bartlow is a small village in South Cambridgeshire close to the border with Essex.
The parish church of St Mary has a 12th century round tower, one of only two in the county of Cambridgeshire, the nave and chancel are 14th century.
