The Parish Church of Saint Peter
Friesthorpe is a small hamlet between the city of Lincoln and the town of Market Rasen, it is located in the district of West Lindsey and the ancient wapentake of Lawress.
The parish church is dedicated to St Peter and has a medieval west tower, the nave and chancel were rebuilt in 1841.

The small village of Newton by Toft is located in the district of West Lindsey about 4 miles west from the town of Market Rasen.
