The parish church is dedicated to St John the Baptist and has a 15th century west tower, the rest of the church was rebuilt in 1861.

To the west of the village is the site of Legbourne Priory which was founded in the mid 13th century, the Priory was dissolved in 1536 and only earthworks now remain.
