Anna's Hummingbird's gorget flashes brilliant pink, red, copper, and gold due to microscopic feather structures that act like tiny prisms, reflecting and refracting light. Its colors shift with the viewing angle, appearing dull one moment and vibrant the next. Males use this iridescence to attract mates and defend their territory.

Did a little drive around Apache Junction AZ before going to the AZ MVD and found a whole bunch a Saguaros cactus. It's illegal in AZ to dig up and move a Saguaros without the express permission from the the state.
