The Amethyst deceiver (Laccaria amethystina - Amethistzam) is a small brightly colored mushroom, that grows in deciduous and coniferous forests. Because its bright amethyst coloration fades with age and (dry) weathering, it becomes difficult to identify, hence the common name "deceiver". A common species in most temperate zones of Europe, Asia, Central, South, and eastern North America. © Tom Kisjes

I'm not totally sure if this is a (fallen) Harefoot mushroom (Coprinopsis lagopus - Hazenpootje) or perhaps a Mica cap (Coprinellus micaceus sl. - Glimmerinktzwam). Anyhow, I thought the subject was photogenic. © Tom Kisjes
