Another of my bird discoveries in Australia was this fierce looking bandit with the Brylcreem slicked back greaser haircut. Found on the shores outside Melbourne where we were on our way to see the little (Fairy) penguins at St Kilda. Unfortunately the pier was under development so we never did get to see them.
