I am moving on August 1, so expect not to check in on Flickr much as I get settled. Saw these deer on my bicycle ride on July 28, 2024. They appeared to be looking for something in the direction away from me, so I looked too.

Two Cottontail rabbits on the side of the trail, one mature (Mom?) and the other a young bun (baby?). The young rabbit, oddly, was looking up - I've not seen a rabbit look up before! I reimagined Judy Blume's book title as, "Are you there God, it's me, Bunny"

I am moving on August 1, so expect not to check in on Flickr much as I get settled. Saw these deer on my bicycle ride on July 28, 2024. Now you can get a sense of the distance from me. The deer and coyote were aware of me, I stayed put because I did not want to further endanger the deer. At the time of this photo, the two deer had decided to leave the field, one is behind the hydro pole and brush around its base (unseen). The arrows show the location of the other deer and the coyote. The deer came within fairly close proximity to the coyotes.
