The Krimml Waterfalls are the largest in Austria, no less than 380 metres high. The water falls down in three cascades. The upper stage has a drop of 140 metres, the middle of 100 metres, and the lowest a drop of 140 metres.

The “Schmittenhöhe” offers a breathtaking view of the peaks of the Hohe Tauern mountain range. On Zell’s local mountain, hikers can appreciate the view of 30 summits over 3,000 metres.

Along the river Inn arise several colourful houses. I was told that those colours used to have a meaning: each colour stood for a different craft, practiced by the inhabitants. (Se non è vero, è ben trovato.)
