Sinds afgelopen dinsdag 21 januari 2025 is er nieuw vervoer opgestart tussen de Cabooter terminal op de Greenport in Venlo en Trieste in de vorm van een DFDS/EKOL trein. In Duitsland en Italië verzorgt LTE de tractie, de trein rijdt voor nu 2 dagen per week.
Belading is wisselend, maar hoofdzakelijk een mix van Ekol trailers, intercombi trailers, Barlas containers en trailers, Els trailers en meer.
Vandaag was het tweede vertrek van de nieuwe trein naar Italië, deze was fraai beladen met hoofdzakelijk fraaie blauwe Intercombi trailers.
Rond kwart over 10 staat de 6418 gekoppeld aan de trein afwachtend op de controleronde door de machinist. Even hierna zou de trein uitgehaald worden, door de 6418 overgebracht worden naar Venlo alwaar LTE 193 667 het stokje overnam naar Italië.
