Spent the past two days at the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai. The park has 122 elephants rescued from the logging, circus and tourist industries around the world. Some are blind, others have stepped on land mines, tortured etc. They now live their lives on 300 acres about an hour from Chiang Mai. What an amazing place for these animals to spend the rest of their lives free from abuse… oh yeah, and there are over 700 dogs, 1200 cats, 200 water buffalo, cows, pigs etc.
