At the end of its 14 day journey from Edmonton, Alberta; another oil can was delivered to the Genesis Oil Terminal in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Cleared up in an industrial park south of Baton Rouge for the A-419 manifest that originates in Geismar, Louisiana and terminates in Memphis, Tennessee. A-419 normally does not run this way through Baton Rouge, as its normal routing is via Orleans Junction near New Orleans.
Noted, at nearly 40 years old, our Grand Trunk power pulled pretty well.

Company approved layoff to shoot the biz? Sign me up! The night before I was in west Texas shooting the SP transcon when I got a call from my boss asking me if I wanted to shoot the the company business train - and of course I said yes! After all, company business, is company business!
I drove 14 hours through the night for an 0600 on duty time at Hammond, Louisiana. Chased it 42 miles on the Hammond sub into Baton Rouge where it turned railroad south towards New Orleans. There is more to that story, but I'll save it for another time.
