In the end of 2020, I was heading from Southern California to Texas by the way of New Mexico when I decided to make a pitstop at White Sands National Park. At the gate we put our lifetime "America The Beautiful Pass" to work - which I don't think they sell that version of the pass anymore. (Like everything good, all good things must come to an end.) Of course, my kind of 10 minute pitstop turns into a half day ordeal, but it was well worth the stop.
Montana loved the sand dunes as evidenced by the sand kickup coming from her paws. Looking forward to passing through New Mexico again in 2022.

Tana’s first trip from the shelter. Took a drive from Missoula to the Great Salt Lake in a beat up 4Runner. She was too skinny then…
