56051 'Survival' and 56094 creep through Moore, just south of Warrington, on a gin clear 19th July 2023 with the 6J37 Carlisle Yard to Chirk Kronospan loader timber.

Reinstated by Colas Railfreight in May 2012, 56094 was the first 'grid' returned to service for the operator whilst 56051 was the last, being reinstated in June 2021 initially although only settling into regular service as recently as Spring 2023.

GB Railfreight's BR green liveried 69005 'Eastleigh' (originally built on 13th April 1977 as 56007) and BR large logo blue liveried 69002 'Bob Tiller CM&EE' (built 27th March 1979 as 56057) cruise through the rolling Gloucestershire countryside as they approach Tredington AHB level crossing, on the outskirts of Tewkesbury, working the 5Z31 10:29 Doncaster Down Decoy - Long Marston. 20th June 2022.

Hauling a pair of empty 'TDA' fuel tanks for migration back into regular traffic following attention at Eastleigh, 37418 'An Comunn Gàidhealach' is seen erupting away from Hatton North Junction with the 6Z37 11:55 Eastleigh Arlington - Sinfin Sidings on 7th March 2022. The loco is privately owned and is currently on hire to Colas.

The name which adorns the bodyside is a Scottish Gaelic pronunciation, meaning simply 'The Gaelic Association', an organisation founded in Oban in 1981 to aid in the preservation and development of the Gaelic language, and also to help establish the Royal National Mòd, which is a festival incorporating Gaelic arts, music and culture.

Wearing the pleasant blue livery of their parent company and with a uniform rake of blue JNA wagons to match, DC Rail's 60028 approaches Aslockton on the rural outskirts of Bingham on 11th February 2022, working the 6Z16 09:12 Derby Chaddesden Sidings - King's Lynn TC (eventually Middleton Towers) sand empties. The agricultural presence of this area is backed up by the huge congregate of birds in the background, which were in a frenzy at the sight of a freshly ploughed field nearby.

Almost resembling one of the popular British Rail 'Speedlink' trains which ran from the late 1970s until 1991, Railfreight red stripe liveried 20118 'Saltburn-by-the-Sea' and 20132 'Barrow Hill' whistle along the Up Slow line at Barrow-upon-Soar on 12th April 2021, working the 6Z30 12:08 Derby Chaddesden Sidings - Wembley DB Cargo Fan 'A and B' Sidings, hauling sixteen Rail Adventure translator wagons.

This move was operated by DCR, with the class 20s hired in from HNRC.
