The first factory buildings of the textile mill "Tuchfabrik Gebrüder Pfau" were built in 1885. It remained in family ownership until 1972, when it became part of the "VEB Volltuchwerke Crimmitschau". In 1990, the former textile mill was listed as a historical monument in its entirety.
