37609 and 37605 approach Crowle, working the first leg of 2Q09 09.26 Doncaster West Yard - Doncaster West Yard via Barnetby and Roxby Gullet. The coach is track recording coach DB999508, built in 1960 as an inspection saloon.

This was the only time I managed to get this train in sun, although also did it twice from the side of the canal when it ran back west and then returned east again, as it went down the Roxby Gullet branch and came back again, and then on its return to Doncaster looking the other way down the canal from this bridge. I also took a shot with the train closer to the bridge, but the rear loco is partly obscured by the signal gantry (which is no longer there); this is a slightly cropped version of the first frame I took, also cut down to a 1:2 aspect ratio.

Note: I recorded this working as 2Q08, but www.class37.co.uk lists it as 2Q09, and the only other photos I've found of it on Flickr also say 2Q09.
