DRS 68033 'The poppy' & 68017 'Hornet' seen trundling up the Dungeness branch towards Appledore working 6M95 bound for Sellafield.

Upon arrival to Sellafield the used fuel rods will be processed and stored there long term. Note the use of 3 FNA flasks, somthing that hasn't happened since 2021 making for a nice change to the usual one or two.

DRS 68008 & 68017 seen departing dungeness an hour early with a single FNA flask working 6M95 up to Crewe.

The early departure did unfortunately avoid a more ideal sun position but any earlier I'd have missed altogether!
