Rio Grande Western check for income made through ticket sales in the month of August 1899. The RGW was the successor to the original narrow gauge Denver & Rio Grande Western Railway that ran from Grand Junction Colorado to Ogden Utah, and was merged into the Denver & Rio Grande in 1908.
