QG 739 is on the move again, having tie down the two cars pulled from Rolland Paper on the junction track, the Ste-Thérèse-based crew face an another 57 miles of travelling before exchanging trains with the "Gatineau switcher" at Thurso.
QGRY built this connexion in 2000 between their Lachute subdivision (former CP) and the parallel Montfort subdivision (former CN) who could be seen at far left when the deal selling the Montfort was done.
The tri-light signal aspect once protected the diamond crossing between the two lines, located into the curve in background.

Boxcars were all empty and bound for the three remaining active paper mill left around Gatineau area. The cut of empty as well Sodium Chlorate hoppers on the tail end were billed for the huge ERCO plant in Buckingham,QC, the main reason of the line's survival over the years.
