Pauls Pix 53 and I had a day out to Rye, just so that I could photograph this windmill.
This year I've decided my monthly 365 project will be Sussex windmills. We started with Rye as it's easy to get to and doesn't require waders or a snorkel to get to :)) The countryside is very wet at the moment.
We were also lucky with the dark clouds going by and sunshine hitting the windmill, otherwise it would have been a white windmill against a white sky.

During the USA's participation in WW II, the recruiting slogan was 'Uncle Sam Wants You!' for the military services.
In today's world, this one seems more apropos.
