A small group of Chinstrap Penguins on a large iceberg.
Although this penguin is good at climbing, it certainly was a very big surprise when we sailed past this very large iceberg and saw the penguins up there. Another question is how are they going to get back down?

Lovely to see this rather unusual visitor in my garden over the last few days. It’s a leucistic Blackbird. These aberrations are not particularly rare but I’ve not seen one for a few years. The white patches are thought to be caused by a shortage of the dark pigment melanin, which would normally make the feathers black.
Unfortunately most of the affected birds do not survive for long as they are an easy target for predators.
