Under the Mackinac bridge I stand so small. The cold water flows beneath my feet and the ice. The silence is almost eerie and all I hear is the sound of ice cracking in the distance. The bitter cold makes of the straights and Mother Nature itself really creates for one in lifetime masterpieces of art that are so unique looking to see.

As the sun went down. The rain started. It was off and on for awhile then it turned into freezing rain. The sky filled with this layer haze. The lights from the cars driving on the road reflecting on the water made for a very colorful atmosphere. It was the stillness of everything around me besides the ducks “quacking” and even the ducks gave me peace of mind!
