Hamnoy port is another of the well known sites on Lofoten. The view from the small fishermen port features the typical Norwegian landscape with red houses, fjords and steep cliffs. A winter view on village with port and Festhaeltinden mountain on background. Luckily it was a clear morning , with almost no wind.Many thanks to everyone who took the trouble to view comment or fave !

I seem to have been encountering a lot of fog recently and this day was no exception. I came across this little Rowan tree growing amongst the rocks in thick cold hill-fog high on Moel Siabod. Due to the fog there was barely any colour to be seen, so it lent itself to a dark and gloomy black & white.
