In the ruined Hardwick Old Hall in Derbyshire, England, these Elizabethan stucco fireplace decorations are still visible in the interior.
The Old Hall was Bess of Hardwick's home before the 1590s when she began building the grander New Hall (which is adjacent to the Old Hall).

The Old Hall, on an adjacent site, was Bess's home before she began building the grander New Hall. Although now ruined, it still has traces of Elizabethan plasterwork interior decoration from when Bess began remodelling it in 1587 - shortly before commencing work on the New Hall.
