This statue is one of a pair which face one another in a gap in the hedge dividing the south lawn from the Rose Garden at Anglesey Abbey, a National Trust property near Lode in Cambridgeshire.

This statue is of a faun blowing a conch shell, and with a ram's fleece tied around his waist. The other is of a faun blowing pan pipes, also with a fleece.

This Chinese-style temple stands on the Emperors' Walk, part of the garden of Anglesey Abbey (a National Trust property near Lode, Cambridgeshire). Underneath it sits a Roman urn made of porphyry (red stone). Its roof is made of copper tiles shaped like fish scales.

The temple and urn are listed II* by English Heritage and are described as follows on the English Heritage website:

"Urn, ancient Roman. Egyptian porphyry, with a stem of white granite and base of Swedish porphyry. The urn has a cover of copper. Believed to be from Doughty House, Richmond. The urn is in an open-sided temple in Chinese style, with a copper roof on Tuscan columns. Formerly it was at Burrows Hill, near Chertsey."

In the centre of the Herbaceous Garden at Anglesey Abbey stands a statue of an old man, the base of which carries sundials on all four sides.

This is the sundial on the left of the base (when viewed from the front). The angle of the hour line as seen in this picture is accurate.

Anglesey Abbey is a National Trust property near Lode, Cambridgeshire.
