We got up before sunrise and drove to Ha-Ho-No-Geh, a branch of Coal Mine Canyon. We had planned the trip to meet a flickr friend and her nephew from Italy. Coincidenally, it was the time of full moon, so when it is sunrise, it is also moonset.

The rock formations are quite striking in the early moring light -- sort of ghostly. I could almost feel the Native American spirits around me as the sun rose and the moon set...
