A couple of years ago, I planted a Spiranthes odorata (Fragrant Ladies'-tresses orchid) in my front-yard Bog Garden. This year, that one plant has produced almost a dozen plants.

Most Ladies'-tresses orchids do not have any fragrance, but this one has a strong, earthy fragrance.

Last night, we had about two inches of rain accompanied by small hail. I feared that the plants would be beaten down, but thankfully they made it through the storm.
