A quick day trip to a rather famous wildflower site in Polk County, just north of the town of Tryon, North Carolina. It is a wildlife and bird sanctuary owned by the Tryon Garden Club and is called Pearson Falls or Pearson's Falls depending on whom you ask. Since the Tryon Garden Club's website uses "Pearson's Falls", That's what I will use, as well.

I found several interesting wildflower species along the main road to the site, so I didn't actually go in through the gate house on this visit.
