This is my first visit to Yellowstone National Park. Most of the Park is contained in Wyoming, but a very small portion juts into Montana and Idaho. I had not visited any of those states, so that was also a treat.
The sights are pretty much unbelievable -- especially the water features, but the wildlife was also quite plentiful. What many visitors fail to understand is that these are truly wild creatures, and some visitors are injured each year by provoking or otherwise disturbing these large animals. They own the park, and have no problem using the highway as a path to travel from their night haunts to their day-time feeding grounds. Traffic jams were common place.
